In the decades to follow, NYC clubs like Birdland, Cotton Club, Village Vanguard, Savoy and Lenox Lounge showcased great musicians from all over the country. This original painting by Michael Babyak highlights these cornerstones of the NYC Jazz community as well as the great Jazz musicians that filled them with music.
